Relicase Debuts at AAM Philadelphia: Showcasing Chinese Intelligent Manufacturing, Connecting Cultural Landmarks
From May 20 to 23, 2026, the 2026 Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

As the largest and most influential academic exchange and exhibition event for the museum industry across the United States, this year’s expo drew over 350 participating institutions and nearly 5,000 museum professionals worldwide.

The event coincided with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and the 120th anniversary of the establishment of AAM. Philadelphia, home to the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, is known as “the birthplace of America”. Boasting iconic cultural landmarks such as Independence National Historical Park and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it is also the first World Heritage City in the United States, perfectly embodying the core ethos of AAM. All these factors set a high standard for the event in terms of access requirements and overall caliber.

This marks Sichuan Relicase’s return to the AAM expo on the other side of the ocean, following its appearances at the AAM events in Seattle in 2014 and Washington, D.C. in 2016. As a representative Chinese cultural relics exhibition enterprise, its repeated participation overseas stems from the company’s long-standing international development strategy, commitment to aligning with global exhibition standards and benchmarking international product quality.

At the Pennsylvania Convention Center, elegant violins were displayed inside the exquisite wall-mounted display case at the Relicase booth. Meanwhile, vivid giant panda ornaments and the distinctive Chinese dragon logo presented unique Oriental charm, showcasing the strength of Chinese intelligent manufacturing to the world.

This Philadelphia journey has brought us fruitful achievements and fresh motivation for future development.

Over a century ago, Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin, world-renowned Chinese architects and pioneers in cultural heritage conservation, studied at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. It was here that they embarked on their lifelong career of researching human cultural creations and inheriting Chinese civilization. Later, amid the national crisis of China, the couple completed masterpieces including A History of Chinese Architecture and Illustrated History of Chinese Architecture under harsh conditions in Lizhuang, Yibin, Sichuan — where Relicase is headquartered today. Their works have exerted a profound influence on later generations. Spanning the vast Pacific Ocean, Relicase has forged a unique link between these two significant cultural landmarks that symbolize history, civilization and heritage. This connection reinforces our profound sense of responsibility and mission as an enterprise serving the cultural heritage sector.

With the annual theme ” The Museum Odyssey”, this expo centered on the core concept of time, redefining four core roles of museums: guardian of time, time traveler, recorder of history and visionary for the future. It focused on hot topics including collection preservation, exhibition upgrading, venue operation and cultural inheritance, charting the future development trends of the global museum industry. The event inspired practitioners at home and abroad to clarify their missions, take a long-term perspective and work together amid fierce market competition.

With more than 20 years of dedication to the cultural relics exhibition industry, Relicase provides one-stop customized solutions for cultural relic display case for cultural and museum institutions across the globe, adhering to international design criteria, rigorous production techniques and a comprehensive after-sales service system.
Relicase’s participation in the 2026 AAM MuseumExpo is a full demonstration of its comprehensive strength, another important step for China’s cultural relics supporting products to enter the global market, and a great encouragement for the team. Time, history and the interplay between past and future are the eternal themes and core elements of cultural heritage undertakings. They have inspired Relicase to set new goals: stay true to the original aspiration of inheriting civilization, keep pace with global demands for exhibition solutions, advance technological research and development, and create higher-quality, smarter products that match top international standards. We will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with industry partners at home and abroad, help Chinese intelligent manufacturing for cultural heritage go global, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
